I attended Robin’s in-person E-cademy after completing her Beyond the Basics online course. The online course gave me great insight on how to give feedback and highlight little things to clients, in a way that was digestible but still productive. Robin was incredibly patient with all of us, and always made sure to answer any questions we had.
As I wanted some in-person help, I signed up for the E-cademy course. While I expected to just pick up a few tips & tricks, I left feeling way more confident and knowledgeable in my use of the tool than any other e-collar course has ever made me feel. Robin covered everything from the history of the e-collar and the components, to incorporating some advanced training techniques with e-collars. She explained things clearly, and approached every student with compassion and patience. Not only did we learn all the theoretical applications, but we had significant hands-on practice for each technique she shared with us. The variety of dogs and trainers made it an incredible learning opportunity, and even the dogs had a great time learning with Robin. My dog progressed significantly in just 5 days with Robin, and I feel empowered to continue achieving more with him thanks to Robin’s guidance!
I fully recommend all of Robin’s courses to anyone considering using e-collars in their dog training, and can’t wait until the next opportunity to learn from her.
