Getting through to the human half of the team

As dog trainers, we have access to loads of material, workshops, and instruction for how to teach and coach dogs. But if we’re hoping to effectively teach and coach owners, and don’t have that as a ‘natural’ skill-set, there’s a big gap.

Resourceful trainers will seek out the information and skills in different fields, and apply them as best they can, but that knowledge can be difficult to access, and may fall short.

I don’t know of anyone else offering this type of workshop specifically for dog professionals, and can’t think of anyone I’d rather learn these skills from. Robin’s teaching style is engaging and thought-provoking, she keeps it very relevant, and somehow she makes it fun to feel a little foolish. Her passion for better communication and teaching as a means to better help for dogs and their owners shines through.

I can’t wait to improve my own client results by implementing what I’ve learned about teaching for different personality types, and learning styles!
