I’m getting a new puppy and that made me think of back when you helped me with my current Golden Retriever. I think he was around two and way easily over excited. He was born and the pandemic started two weeks later, so we didn’t end up getting much training until he was two. I only listened to R+ trainers for a while and people who said don’t ever say no to your dog. They sure didn’t think “shock” collars should be used. We were a disaster. Logan was smart enough to take advantage of all of that and my inexperience. Anyway, you gave me therapy and some online lessons. He is now e-collar conditioned and has fantastic recall. Even with running deer, he recalls w/out stimulation. He definitely responds best to low (2s) continuous for most anything and it isn’t needed much these days. Logan just turned five and is now Prism’s Lately I’ve Been Thinking CDX BN RN JH TKA WC (11/28/2019-). He is a joy and I’m so thankful for him. We are working on Utility and his Senior Hunter. Puppy #2 was born on Logan’s birthday this year! We pick him up in late January. I’m going to check out your puppy program. I just wanted to say thank you!
Oh — and we were invited to the Obedience Classic this year! We didn’t go because it’s too far away and too close to Christmas, but it was nice to be invited. Logan is the best boy.
