If you are interested in learning more about remote collar training, how it works and what it can do for your relationship with your dog, join Robin MacFarlane May 21st & 22nd in Cleveland Ohio.
This is a two day, hands on (bring your dog!) workshop. You’ll learn not only the basics of how the remote collar works, but work on skills most courses don’t touch on for months…like off leash control of your dog.
Whether you have years of training experience or are new to the process, you will learn valuable tips and techniques for building a better relationship with your dog.
Professional trainers and pet owners are ALL welcome at this event. But hurry to register, only a few spots remain.

Here is a glimpse at some of the fun we had last time in Cleveland!
Knowing that I risk sounding like I am gushing [a bit], I feel a need to write this.
I went to this workshop last year in Cleveland. It was truly time, money, and effort well spent. The amount of information covered and the QUALITY of the information covered was invaluable. I had learned tid-bits here and there about Robin’s method with the remote collar from other trainers I know, and had even watched her first DVD…but the workshop really put everything in place for me.
Robin has a way with words and ideas that make her a great teacher; to her clients and to other dog professionals alike, regardless of their longevity in or career with dogs. The fact also that she feels that knowledge should be shared openly and not hoarded and parceled out gains her much respect amongst her peers, I dare say.
Her rapport with the dogs themselves leaves no question of her excellence and ability in her profession.
I learned more in this one weekend workshop alone about an alternative use of the remote collar than I had at the school I attended to become a certified dog trainer. (Nothing against my alma matter at all.) I was able to take what a learned and practiced there and go immediately out into the world and apply it with no hesitation.
My only regret? That I was pretty late on the second day of the workshop. =)
(That was entirely my fault.)
Gee, you make me blush! Thanks for those very kind words. It is our responsibility as professionals to do all we can to share information and keep open minds about what
is possible. Only through that effort can we help dogs and their owners have successful and happy lives together. Hope I see you again in May!
