Ecollar: Beyond the Basics

Description

Beyond the Basics is a 7-week virtual course. Participants will be given homework assignments and will view prerecorded videos each week. They will also meet for weekly group calls with Robin to assess progress and ask questions. All participants will be encouraged to submit videos of their work. Videos will be reviewed, and individualized feedback will be provided with suggestions for areas of improvement or the next steps to advance the training.

Professional trainers will participate in the same training process, PLUS receive seven additional hours (1 hour/week) of trainer instruction covering best practices for working with pet owners, problem-solving, and program development.

Here are just a few things you will discover in Ecollar: Beyond the Basics:

• The history behind remote collar training and why it has ALWAYS been intended as a more humane approach to training.
• Gain clarity on how the dog, the surroundings, AND the goal of the training determines the stimulation level that should be used.
• Go beyond the basics of recall training. Learn the three actions needed for true collar literacy and how they relate to varying objectives, including directional training, impulse control, and modifying various behavior issues.
• Professional Trainers: Learn proper sequencing and program adaptations for private lessons, board and train, and day training applications.
• Professional Trainers: Improve instructing techniques to ensure your clients are motivated to do the work and gain a reliable and positive outcome.

This class has a limited enrollment and will close once all spots are filled.

Dates: July 9th – August 20th Group class will meet live (via Zoom) on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM CST.
Coaching calls for pet owners are 60 minutes and will conclude at 7:00 PM CST
Coaching calls for Professional trainers are 2 hours and will conclude at 8:00 PM CST

Attendees will have access to all course materials for six months following the start date of the class.

This is an incredible value. Individual sessions with Robin are $150-250/hour. You will get access to all the online information, homework assignments, and handouts, PLUS 7 weeks of coaching assistance!
