Remote collar training is less stressful for dog and her owner

“Just as with any product that sounds too good to be true,
I was at first skeptical about remote collar training.
When my dog began to follow Ann (the trainer) within
minutes of introduction to the collar, I knew we had found
the training system that would work for us.

Rigel (an 8 month old Samoyed) and I were the perfect
candidates for the remote collar system.  She knew all the
basic commands but lacked focus and discipline.

With the use of the remote collar, there is a very clear communication between dog and handler.

She knows what I need her to do
and when, and because of this I am able to enforce all
commands and give her the consistency she needs, in a
way that is stress free for both of us.

Because of the success Rigel enjoyed with the use of the
remote collar, she gained confidence which has allowed
her to act in a way that would make me proud in new
situations.  As an added bonus, when she inevitably draws
attention from strangers on our outings they are impressed
with both her looks and her attitude.

Having learned the proper use of the collar and with all
the guidance I received from Ann, I am
excited to continue using the remote collar training
system to further solidify the desirable behaviors so that
Rigel and I can enjoy being a part of the community in
a way that is safe and pleasant to everyone.”

  • What a great article! It’s so true that there are a lot of misconceptions out there about e-collar dog training, and for the most part without reason. It worked for me, and I’m a big believer in it. I’m glad you are trying to spread the word as well. Thanks for the post!

  • The key to success with an e-collar is proper training and guidance. People joke all the time with me about “zapping” my dog into submission, but the truth is, I don’t pulse the transmitter very often, and when I do, the result is about the same as my tapping on the dog’s shoulder to get her attention.
It’s my belief that people whose animals are getting hurt with shock collars have not been trained properly on how to use them.
